Boon isn't a trained chef but you can say cooking is in his blood! With a Hainanese Chef Grandfather and a Mother who loves to cook, it was inevitable that he quit his former job with a multi-national company and take the plunge into the food business after a year of experimenting and perfecting his Signature recipe Siew Yok. An unsuccessful stint led Boon to sell his Siew Yok at Night Market, then to selling economy rice back in his hometown, Ipoh, followed by coming to KL to launch this very new and improved restaurant, Boon Signature Roast Pork with 2 former customers turned into partners!'

Pandan Jaya有家相当有名的鸡饭店，叫做阿婆菜园鸡饭美食店，老板曾经在新加坡有名的瑞记海南鸡饭学艺。这里的海南鸡饭属于比较传统的海南鸡饭，一律采用新鲜的菜园鸡，所以特别美味。二话不说立刻点了菜园鸡和叉烧双拼以及一碟油饭来吃，吃了一口，哇~鸡肉果然非常鲜嫩，而且肉质很滑，加上老板自己特制的黑酱油，实在很开胃很好吃，吃到版主爽爽，正！
